How Purchases Work
TOG-Gems is a curated inventory of one-of-a-kind natural gemstones. Because each stone is unique, purchases are arranged directly with us following your inquiry — please use our Contact page to ask about a specific stone, and we will confirm availability, price, and next steps with you personally before any payment is made.
Shipping
- All gemstones are shipped fully insured for their full value, via a trackable carrier requiring signature on delivery.
- Orders are typically shipped within 2–5 business days of confirmed payment, unless otherwise discussed with you directly.
- Any accompanying grading or identification report (e.g., GIA) will be shipped together with the stone unless you request otherwise.
- International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the stone's listed price.
Returns
- We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If a stone is not as represented, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange a return.
- Returned stones must be shipped back fully insured, in their original, unaltered condition, accompanied by any certification or report that was included with the original shipment.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned stone, a refund will be issued to your original payment method, less any outbound shipping and insurance costs already incurred.
- Stones that have been cut, set into jewelry, or otherwise altered after purchase cannot be returned.
- Custom orders or stones sourced specifically at a buyer's request may be final sale — this will always be communicated clearly before purchase.
Damaged in Transit
If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents before opening further, and contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the carrier and make it right.
